I studied philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a bachelor's of science degree from UW in 2004. I then studied psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and earned a bachelor's degree in 2008 with a certificate in mental health skills.
I have been tutoring first grade through twelfth grade students professionally for the past two years. Subjects tutored include math, English, reading, writing, and science. My primary emphasis has been preparing students for ACT and SAT college entrance exams.
Aside from tutoring, I do independent research in the areas of philosophy and psychology. My primary interests include the following:
- The nature of consciousness and its implications
- Ethics
- Personal empowerment
